ER/Box
ER/Box is an effort to leverage the database independence infrastructure found in the Compiere Integrated ERP & CRM Solution to create an easy to set up, out-of-the-box system with Compiere's feature set.

Status
The current release of ER/Box is based on Compiere 2.6.0a. Client and Server start up and basic navigation in the client is possible. For the most part the application is untested and as such is not recommended for use in anything but demo and development environments.
Expect to encounter bugs! ... and please file them in the project's tracker. See Project.

Please visit the Files section of the SourceForge project space to download the latest ER/Box release (zip for Windows, tar.gz for Unix/Linux). Find the installation instructions in the documentation area of this website.
License
As a derivative of the Compiere product the ER/Box source code is bound to the terms of the Compiere Public License, which is equivalent to the GNU General Public License (GPL).
The Name
The name is just a means to easily identify the project. It might also serve as a reminder of the long term vision: To provide a system for Enterprise Resource Management, bundled in a self containing Box
