Running ER/Box

Just like the installation running ER/Box differs slightly depending on the target platform or database.

On Windows starting the server and the client ist just a matter of a few doubleclicks; find the instructions here.

Starting and stopping ER/Box on Linux currently requires some more manual interaction but is nonetheless really easy; find the instructions here.

With PostgreSQL the database has to be running prior to starting the ER/Box server or client application; find the instructions here.
