There seems to be a problem when creating a new business partner on the fly from the Sales Order window with the New Record option from the context menu:
The newly created business partner record has incorrect entries in the Created By and Updated By fields and the corresponding times.
Even worse: If this action is performed e.g. as user GardenUser then the new record cannot be edited. It is strange though that the corresponding Location and Contact entries do not show this problem:
